Minervino "Minner" Labrador Jr.          

Pastor Dr. Minervino “Minner” Labrador Jr. serves Men's Ministries from the Southwestern Union Conference.

The Southwestern Union oversees conferences in the five states states of New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.

Dr. Labrador is the Vice-President of Ministerial and Church Ministries, with specialty areas of Stewardship, Media and Men’s Ministries. The Southwestern Union serves over 130,000 members in over 700 churches and companies. He has been serving in the Southwestern Union since 2012.

Pastor Labrador previously served in the Carolina Conference as Men’s Ministries Director and Senior Pastor of the Sharon Church located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior, he served in the Carolina Conference and in the Florida Conference as Men’s Ministries Director and Pastor of the Clearwater Church, the Belleview English and the Ocala Spanish Churches and in the city of Miami as a Youth Pastor. He was a daily radio talk show host in the area of Tampa Bay, Florida with “Divine Direction Live Radio” which reported over 30,000 regular listeners.

Minner is the founder and creator of the Men’s Ministries television series “Old Man New Man” which can be seen around the world. He has led and pioneered the work of Men’s Ministries across North America for over twenty years.

He is a graduate of Southern Adventist University located in Collegedale, Tennessee, Andrews University located in Berrien Springs, Michigan and Gordon-Conwwell Theological Seminary located in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his doctoral studies with a specialty in Redemptive Leadership and Healthy Organizational Structures.

Evelyn Labrador is a graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is presently working at the Southwestern Union Conference as Pastor Labrador’s Administrative Assistant.

They have been married since 1986 and have two sons Minner and Mario. In April 2015 Minner and Evelyn became the proud grandparents of Lucas Minervino Labrador pictured below.
